Symptoms of Heat Stress: leaves curling up at the tips or edges and if unaddressed leaves looking burnt or dry.
Causes of Heat Stress/Light Burn:
- The growing environment is too warm - add a fan or an air conditioner to cool the air surrounding the plant. The app will tell you if the temperature is out of range.
- The lights are too close to the plant. If you are using the Annaboto provided lights, they should be around 40 inches from the top of the plant and a little closer when the plant begins to flower (to the point that the full width of the plant is receiving light, but no closer.
Plant Maintenance: If the Heat Stress/Light Burn is caught early your plant leaves will recover. If however any leaves have fully yellowed or browned, carefully snip them off as they will not turn green again and could shade your remaining healthy leaves.
