Your plant will go through four phases of growth:  from Seed to Seedling to a Vegetative Plant to a Flowering Plant.

Seed Germination

5-10 days

18 hours of light

Your seed contains enough nutrients to germinate on its own, but it is important to ensure that the seed has enough air and warm temperatures as well as water.  Ideally the location you have selected for your annaboto device can average at least 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to 24 degrees Celsius).  You can check the temperature range in the annaboto device.  Once the seed has germinated, the same temperature range will be ideal, but a seedling has a higher tolerance for cooler temperatures.  Some seeds germinate better in the dark, in which case depending on the pre-tested strain we will recommend you cover the seed pod for the first few days.  Don't worry if you don't see a sprout for a week as your seed maybe growing a long root prior to sending up a plant stem.

Seedling to Vegetative Plant

2-3 weeks

18 hours of light

When your seedling first appears popping up through the seed pod you will see tiny embryo leaves pushing upon the outer seed shell.  Within a week, true leaves with the classic cannabis serrated edges will appear. These "true" leaves will require light and you plant will start using up water and nutrients.  Your annaboto mobile app will let you know if the water is getting low and it is time to cycle the tanks, or if the plant needs more nutrients which also will require a water tank cycle.

Vegetative to Flowering Plant

8-11 weeks

12 hours of light

During the Vegetative phase, depending on your strain, you may need to prune away lower leaves which turn yellow and are no longer helping the plant grow with your provided clippers (inside the cartridge door).
